These guys are the reason we drove all the way to Idaho on the 4th of July
Aaron Hubbard, Josh and Joey Price, Kyle Brown Adam Schaffner, Ethan (and Joseph) Nuttall. Troop 156 from the old Hillsboro Ward. And it was worth the trip.

This is us after two hours in the Lava Springs Hot tubs. Can you tell it was totally relaxing, soothing, tranquil and calming? We loved it!

Some negotiated the river a little more gracefully than others!

Two tired little boys. What a weekend it was for them. For all of us.

Joey's family came out to Oregon and we all had so much fun. Hangin' out with cousins is a blast, whether it be digging in the sand box with Lucy, laughing on the lawn after picking cherries, or piling on the couch for Family Home Evening. This is the life!

We started our summer with our annual girls trip to the beach. Annie, Katie and I started this in 1989 with the rule that I would write in theschool excuse note saying exactly what we were doing; skipping school and going to the beach. And we've been doing it ever since!

At the beginning of the summer, we bought us a boat! A twelve foot beauty we named Lily. We have really enjoyed her so much and so have the grandkids.

Our California trip

Last month, we drove down to California with Dusty, Janeece and Annie and five little children. Thank goodness we had lots of Grandpa stops to play at the park, eat hamburgers and drink as much pop as we wanted. Which meant even more Grandpa stops to play at the park, eat hamburgers and drink pop!

The grandkids were really glad to see each other. It was fun watching them play together. And Grandma Price got to hold her newest great grandchildren, Phillip and Corbin.

We had a double family reunion

in California - one with Joe's family

and the other with mine. Both meant a lot.

Families mean everything to us.

Thanks Dusty for making all this

happen.

Once there was a snow man.

Once upon a time there was a snow man. He
was a very happy snow man. He waved to all
the fun people that came to visit Grammy and
Grandpa. He waved to Hailey and Brooklyn.
He waved to Lucy. He waved to all the squirrels.
He waved to the trees and the birds and the
clouds and the bushes and to the sun. The sun!!!!!
Oh no! Don't wave to the sun.

No! No! Don't wave to the sun.

Oh dear. He waved to the sun. The end.

LET IT SNOW!

Katie and Mike flew out to Oregon for Christmas thinking that they would get a bit warmer weather than in Utah. They came just in time for a real authentic "BLIZZARD". It was incredible how much snow we got. All these photos were taken right here at our house.

This is NOT Timberline but our field just down the hill. The snow transformed it into our own little winter resort.

Every one had so much fun in the snow. Hailey and Brooklyn especially!!! For fifteen minutes. And then they were ready to go back in to get warm.
