Once there was a snow man.

Once upon a time there was a snow man. He
was a very happy snow man. He waved to all
the fun people that came to visit Grammy and
Grandpa. He waved to Hailey and Brooklyn.
He waved to Lucy. He waved to all the squirrels.
He waved to the trees and the birds and the
clouds and the bushes and to the sun. The sun!!!!!
Oh no! Don't wave to the sun.

LET IT SNOW!

Katie and Mike flew out to Oregon for Christmas thinking that they would get a bit warmer weather than in Utah. They came just in time for a real authentic "BLIZZARD". It was incredible how much snow we got. All these photos were taken right here at our house.

This is NOT Timberline but our field just down the hill. The snow transformed it into our own little winter resort.

Every one had so much fun in the snow. Hailey and Brooklyn especially!!! For fifteen minutes. And then they were ready to go back in to get warm.

my Utah gammie trip

This is Corbin our newest little grandbaby. He had such a funny expression in this photo. It was when we first met and he wasn't so sure about me. Well a week and a half later, he is one of my best buds. Just tonight he and I were chilling out for about an hour telling all kinds of stories.
I am having a great time here. The kids are great to be with. We have built snowmen, chased ducks, put together puzzles, played station rotation, gone to Jumpin Jacks, to the Creamery and more. I will post photos of every one when I get back to Oregon.
I just wanted to tell you all that it is so incredible being a grandma!!!!!

summer memories

Here are some memories of this summer from Emily's camera. (Once I learn how to post photos I will add photos from our camera.) It was an incredible summer, especially having all of you here.

My favorite child and grandchildren

We appreciated having mom out to visit us and to help us deal with the joy/sleeplessness of a second child. On her last day here we went to Buttermilk falls. It is a mini version of Watkins Glen, and a great hike. After hiking halfway, we went back down to play on the playground. The playground was great, grammy and mckay had a great time. Here is a video of them playing the music, watch grammy's face as she realizes that she may fall over backwards.
